2019 Christmas at Coteau Holiday Market and Special Events
December 5-7, 2019

Join us for an over 30 year holiday tradition at Christmas at Coteau, December 5-7, 2019 on the historic grounds of the Academy of the Sacred Heart and Berchmans Academy in Grand Coteau, LA.  With over 75 unique vendors, artists, authors, jewelers, and retailers from all over the region, shoppers will have the opportunity to check every name off of their Christmas lists with all of the unique and specialty gifts available at this market.
On Thursday, December 5, 2019- Shop, Dine, and Dance the night away at Christmas Under the Oaks, our Christmas at Coteau Preview Party from 6 pm – 10pm.  All vendors will be open to allow shopping guests a jump start on their holiday shopping.  And, the finest restaurants in town will be showcasing their exquisite culinary arts.  Restaurants include, Ruth’s Chris, Zea, Pamplona, Ruffino’s on the River, Tsunami, Pour, Le Triomph, and French Press.  Transportation option is available from Lafayette to Grand Coteau.
On Friday, December 6, the holiday shopping market opens at 9am and closes at 4pm.  At 11am and 1pm, guests will gather for our gourmet luncheons catered by Ruffino’s on the River and French caroles and prayers sung by lower school students at the Academy and Berchmans. And, don’t forget the raffle- such fun!  These luncheons typically sell out, so advanced reservations are strongly recommended.  Shopping guests can also enjoy student carolers in the Chapel and tours of our holy Shrine, the site of the miracle of St. John Berchman’s healing apparition of novice Mary Wilson.
On Saturday, December 7, the holiday shopping market opens at 9am and closes at 3pm.  And, make plans to enjoy the best gumbo around while you shop during our 2nd Annual Christmas at Coteau Gumbo Cook-Off!  The tasting begins at 11am and will continue until 3, so be sure to bring your appetite.
Tickets may be purchase online:  here or at the door.  Tickets may also be purchased at the door, but it is strongly recommended that luncheon tickets be purchased in advance.
